What's
a Harvest Party ? -your chance to live the glamorous life of a grape picker
for just one day! We meet at the winery on the 1st Saturday of October
between 9 and 10 a.m. for coffee and noshes. Promptly at 10 a.m. we head
‘em up and move em out.
Unless things change, we'll be picking Gewurztraminer from Frank & Marylou Omstead's vineyard Northeast of Prosser, After a few hours of toiling in the vines, we'll break for one of our legendary and sumptuous grape harvesters lunch complete with home made breads, basiled tomatoes, fresh fruits, and, various thirst slaking beverages.
After lunch we'll whip you back into the vineyard, finish picking, swamp out and head back for the winery where we'll: crush our harvest, and finish the day off with some awards, hors d’oeuvres, and a glass or two. That evening we'll have our Annual Harvest Dinner & Library Tasting a seven course meal built around some rare and delicious library wines from our cellar.
I promise you'll be jaded and sated, take home some
blisters, and meet some 
interesting
folks. You will sleep well that evening and never look at a bottle
of wine quite the same way again These are reservation only events
